Hi, and welcome to the website for Dick Jackson Software Consulting. I specialize in developing custom data analysis and visualization systems using the IDL programming language, from Harris Geospatial Solutions (formerly Exelis), as well as research collaboration and mentoring others who use IDL in their work. I am always extending my skills to be able to approach a wider range of applications, including Python development. I have a deep background in computing and a wide range of experience in working with researchers in many domains. I enjoy the challenge of collaborative research projects and the areas of science where these projects take me.
